Revenge- The Echo of a Grudge

“The consequences of one’s actions may not happen automatically

Vengence is not ours

Yet, others go after revenge when they are hurt…..”

Spiteful

Vindication

Love Left the Fight

Covering the revenge plot as armour of a knight

Covering betrayal with roses on an unmarked grave

Making sure the consequences of the actions bestowed are placed like a chess piece on the board, waiting to say checkmate of the final score

“Vengence is mines says the Lord”

Not wanting to wait for the sweet taste of the plot thickening in the mind like a taste of honey in tea- sipping away at the vengence the heart seeks.

Yet when all is said and done the heart grows cold and the tongue is fire

Will this be the twinkle twinkle the heart is looking for or will it be a beautiful nightmare wrapped in gold?

Will the long term implications of the heart be satisfied with the proposal of revenge?

Calculating the moves of the player and every possible outcome

Letting it eat away at the moral implications due to the hearts scorn

Revenge isn’t the answer but, tastes like a refreshing fruit on a hot day- refreshing to see what the person who has done wrong get a taste of the seed that bestowed the hate

Instead of focusing on purposeful goals before the heart’s flame

Giving them a taste of their own medicine

Game is game

Eating away at the very light within

Darkness is bestowed and it becomes sin

Spectating from behind the scenes-

The inner workings the soul runs cold.
