Inner Child

Let’s play, Let’s play

The inner child would say

Dreams and hopes a childhood can grow

Visions, thoughts, ideas

“What do you want to be?”

This vision replays thoughout the years well past puberty.

Life bcomes real

More than just sight

The lenses through these eyes change-

Random moments snapping the same places realizing these eyes see the same Faces but, the picture captures a different visualization

The memories of the child still linger

”Let’s play, Let’s play”

The routines of everyday life

the child got smaller and the adult got bigger.

Taking the natural course, still wondering why in the wrong ways the child comes out to play.

Temper Tantrums and Immature Defenses,

Lack of commitment-

with Childish decisions

The hopes of life vanished

The Adult can’t seem to manage-

Not knowing that the control of the whispers in the dark manifests.

The innocence of a child

Keeping the memory alive-

Pleasure and hope

dreams as big as the sky.

Figuring out life’s game

A journey with triumphs and trials-

The inner child is petrified of all the games

The adult facing reality

moving through decisions

“Grown up Problems” and “Childhood Traumas”

The inner child comes out to play in the most vulnerable moments.

the adult body has the responsibility.

harmless as a dove,

being as wise as a serpent

welcome to the game of life

enjoy the journey.
